2008 Speedster 215 shut off and wont crank

Took my boat on the water yesterday. Started fine and ran good for about 20 mins. Was coming into dock and lowered speed down. Upon doing that its shut off. It now will not start. It cranks but just barely a revolution and stops trying. Any ideas what might be the issue? I should add that no codes or lights have appeared. Appreciate any help. Thanks

If it doesn't crank right, start with checking the battery. If it's low on charge but good, fully charge it and see if the boat starts and runs. If it does, troubleshoot the magneto and regulator to see why it's not charging properly.

Battery is good. That’s the first thing I checked. Still the same.

Check the pump for foreign objects.

Check the electrical connections all the way from the battery to the starter, and battery to the engine block.

I would check the pump as well. You may have sucked up a bunch of seaweed clogging the pump.
