2008 sea doo supercharged rxt 215 starting and stopping

I have a 2008 seadoo supercharged 4 stroke rxt 215. We just bought it from the dealer and put it in the water and started taking it back across the lake and it died halfway across and started smoking. It started back up but wasn't going over 5-10 mph for the rest of the way back. The ski will start shortly but will turn back off shortly after with light smoke. Thoughts on wat it might be?

Could be a lot of things. I'd take it back to the dealer.
