2008 Sea Doo Speedster 200 430HP Driver Seat problems

Last summer I was trying to adjust the driver seat forward when the next thing I know the lever that you adjust to move the seat forward and back broke off in my hand. It broke off all the way at the back where it connects to back of the seat. Now the seat just slides forward and back. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it? Buying a new seat base is out of the question, I think they are $200 or $300.

I'm pretty sure you can turn your helm seat into the "shotgun" seat buy just removing the slider. Sux that that u don't have the adjustment but .... Beats taking your face off the wheel on sub moves and beats shelling out more cash to the brp parts guy.
