I have a 2008 230 wake with 155hp engines, both engines start an sound fine, during acceleration only one engine increases in rpm until at full throttle the second engine jumps up to full acceleration.
I noticed on the engine that isn't accelerating the cable bracket is attached to another cable which goes to a sort of cable control cylinder attached to the side of the motor, this has a tightening knob which after I thightened it the motor accelerated fine but only for a few moments then returned to how it was functioning before.
Can anyone tell me what this part is and how to determine if that is in fact what the problem is?
