After replacing supercharger washers at 40 hours I hoped my motor problems were done HA, now at 200 hours the motor randomly when warm wll not pull above 6000 rpm . reminds me of when the suoercharger washers failed but this time it only happens when it is hot. It is under warranty but the dealer could not solve it. Anyone have experience with this ?

After the washer failure was the motor removed and cleaned out and oil pumps replaced??? You should pull the charger off and check for abnormal wear. It could just be time for a tune-up.

will check with the dealer that did the SC washer work in the am. just had routine service - oil plugs etc. everything works great for up to an hour or two then when it is warm I only get 6000 RPM at WOT. does not miss, just way down on power.

I agree feels like SC problem, still hear the SC whine even when the power drops off. unlike the washer failure at 40 hours when the whine was gone. Can I check the SC ? or do I just lug it back to the Dealer? Dealer had it already and could not find any problem. Thx for your help. have been told to check the fuel, look for loose hoses, check fluid levels etc

how many hr's since the charger was rebuilt. You need to slip check it. Also look closly at the gear as the edge wear the slip on the washer's lessen. to check the slip you need the SC tools and a good torqwrench with a dial on it.

160 hours ago the SC washers failed. Have seen some posts that say it is time for more SC work glad I bought the 3 yr warranty.

2008 speedster 150 blowed up !!!

HAPPY 4 th of July went out this morn, motor lasted about 4 min and locked up. pretty sure that the dealer did a poor job of rebuilding the supercharger at 40 hours and now at 200 hours it is toast. Had no warning, ran it up to 8100 rpms for a min. slowed to idle and that was it. I think the dealer should have done more last week when I brought it in for an inspection due to power loss.
