We've had our boat (twin 155's) a few weeks now, and have noticed that the right tach/RPM gauge is often off from the left. At first I thought this could have been an engine problem, but then I notice that when the gauges initialize (you attach the key and things power up), that the right gauge goes all the way around to the BRP logo, while the left stops at the 8000 RPM line. And sometimes they do run in sync.
Looks like the gauges aren't available, so... has anyone managed to fix one that's behaving like this? If so, please let me know how to get it out. I didn't see much when searching how to remove them.
Also, the left tach gauge isn't seated firmly in the dash and sometimes pops out a little. It doesn't appear to snap back in or anything - what might be done to keep it in place?
