I wanted to introduce myself and my boat since I have reached out a few times here for advice on fault codes and potential fixes. The boat came to me by way of a customer of mine that was in the middle of an interior restoration. I purchased it with all of the seats out of the boat and brought it home last December. I performed some basic maintenance like an oil and filter change along with spark plugs and a new battery. Along the way, it began throwing a p1655 DESS line shorted to 12v code on the starboard motor. After swapping ECU’s it was determined to have a bad ECU so that was replaced. First time on the water, I go an oil pressure light so the sensor under the throttle body was replaced. It has been great ever since.
