How are you? I just recently purchased a 2007 Seadoo 150 speedster (215 HP). I am attempting to locate a repair/service manual (not owners manual). Does anyone know where to find one, or if they are available yet? Also, woul the 2006 sportster manual suffice; if so where do I obtain that one?

Thank you,

egurf

The premium area of this forum has manuals posted not sure if they have the one you are looking for but I know they have a lot of them!

Engine manual?

Egurf, Laura is right, the premium members section can give you access to all the manuals you could possibly need.....saying that cause I'm a read-a-holic and find them interesting, but to answer your question, I actuall need more info. I've noticed that for the 2007, they made a million (exageration) model engines for the speedster. What type do you have. The 4-TEC NA, SCIC the Wake or Tower edition?..........send me a little more info on it and I'll check for you.
The Premium manuals page does have the 2007 4-TEC manual inplace and ready to use. It is possible that your year Speedster is using an engine that is entirely based on an earlier model. If you decide on membership and can't find what your looking for in the manuals, you can notify one of our administrators and they can have your answer and/or manual loaded on the site with 24 hours.
Hope this gives you better insight into our website and what your looking for!

Similar question

I have a 4-TEC 215 Rotax SCIC. I downloaded the 2007 SeaDoo Shop manual. It appears to cover my 2007 Speedster 150 engine but all the pictures are a PWC rather than the boat (adding some uncertainty). I am simply looking for the right procedure to winterize it up here in the Ohio snowbelt. The Owners manual was lost when I bought it from the previous owner. I believe I found the Speedster 150 owners manual on line here but am still unsure of the shop manual. Can you advise?

PWC verses boat manual.....

Our manuals are purchased and loaded as the administrators are able to get. The process is dictated by demand. As you see, the majority of our forum members are PWC owners. I too, own a boat. So as a mod, I see this all the time.

To answer your question, yes, the PWC models are equipped with the same engines used in the boats. So, if your using a manual that indicates your engine size and configuration, then you can't go wrong.

If your winterizing the 4-TEC......., the biggest difference in winterizing the open loop system is only in the models with the intercooler.

One more winterizing question....

Thanks, I think I got it.:hurray: I put very few hours on the boat so I think I can limit the winterizing to a fairly easy procedure. It is stored indoors, so cold :chillpill:is all that it will experience. However, I cannot find the alledged garden hose connection in the rear of the boat on the jet pump support. Is this something I am just braindead :stupid:on finding or is it less obvious than I thought? The picture in the owners manual is not real helpful. If you have time, can you explain the location and any wisdom you might have? Thanks!

Never mind- I found it

It was obvious, just had to look! I thought it was a male connection for some reason, but i got it now. Thanks!
