Hi, i've got a 2007 seadoo speedster with 100 hrs on it. I've bought it last year and have no problem so far. But this past week end, i've lost power. My engine doesn't rev at 7200-7300 rpm anymore. It's rev a 5800 to 6100 rpm max. I don't have the full power. The firts time he did that, i stop it's, turn the switch to off for 30 seconds and restart it and it was ok. The day after, he did the same thing, i shut the power off an restart it and the problem was still there.

Does anyone have experieced that type of problem before?

Thanks for your helps
Mark!

Ok maybe somebody else can chime in, but of course the first things I would check is:

1. Spark Plugs... did you change them... always change them just in case..

2. Fuel Octane... I use 91, I know people are going to say you dont need it, but I put Arco 91 octane fuel on my bmw and it was horrid, so I only use Shell 91, 76 91octane, or Chevron 91 octane on my boat, oh I also like USA Gasoline.. 91 octane :) its only on the weekends, and its only 21 gallons.. $2.00 to $4.00 a full up is nothing!

3. Battery.. I know it seems absurd.. but you wouldnt believe what has happened to me with a weak battery.

4. Lastly and most importantly and is your wear ring and impeller, did you look to see if you have anything stuck on there..
(this probably should be #1 :)

Easy stuff first. Make sure you have good plugs, good gas (87 octane or better is fine for the 155, 91+ for the SC motors). Also make sure your battery is charged. A weak battery will cause these motors to do weird things. I don't think it's pump or impeller related. That usually gets you poor performance and high rpm. You have poor performance and low rpm which makes me think its not pump related.

Yes 91 isn't needed but at a small premium I've never seen it hurt anything. If available I'd use it in a 155 all day.
