Great price and nice call on the washers. You'll definitely be having fun in no time!Well I bought it...$5800.
Need to change the washers before getting it wet :drool5:
Yeah if you are DIYer, it's not too hard to fix the supercharger yourself.
Supercharger Shaft/Clutch Kit, '08 Spec Rebuild Kit
That'll rebuild the supercharger (recommended every 100 hours by BRP) and upgrade to '08+ spec with metal washers. Nothing like peace of mind with a full rebuild.
If you just wanted to do the washer, just make sure you get the '06-07 version (yes, they are a different diameter).
Riva Heavy-duty Supercharger Clutch Washers '06-07
"It only has 20 some hours, you honestly dont have to worrie about the washer change so early as they really need not be changed till 100 hours. Unless the previous owner had it floored to 68-70mph each time out "
That is false, if any ski has the cermaic washers still installed its a ticking timebomb. Thye can blow/and have blown at as little as 10 hrs. Only the upgraded washers have the interval of 100hrs. before rebuilding.
Any difference between the 08' PWCmuscle and OEM '08 complete rebuild kits besides the metal washers? The Riva indicates the washers as HD, but what is the difference from OEM besides being more expensive? Thickness, material hardness...? thanks, Phill
