2007 RTX lost power

Ran fine for the first 5 min and after shutting off and restarting it, it only goes 70kmh instead of the usual 100kmh. Revs to only 6k rpm as well. The only thing I can think off is maybe the octane level of the gas. Could it be????

Any ideas or suggestions?

Fuel octane...?

Yes, you should be using high octane fuel in your RXT....

When was the last time the oil was changed? Did you do it. Was the oil inspected for any particulates?

Do you have any fault codes?

There are so many things you can have going on. With the info, your not really looking into all that you could to add enough to your post for some kind of logical direction.

What do your spark plugs look like? What's your compression? I know its a pretty new engine, but it has a supercharger and if it's not maintained correctly, it can slow the engine rpm down.

Do you know if your still on ceramic washers or steel? If your on ceramic, what type of oil are you using? Mineral or Synthetic?

I have 12 hrs on it so everything is all original. Havent taken it in for service yet.

How likely is it that it would be the octane of the gas?
