2007 GTI SE Runs fine then stalls.

My 2007 GTI 130 SE runs fine, it then suddenly stalls. Removing the DES lanyard and re-inserting it I get no beeps. I then wait about 10 minutes reinsert the DES key and it works fine until it stalls again. There are no warning lights or other problem indications. Has anyone seen this problem. I would appreciate some advice to track this down.

So, when it stalls, is it like the key was pulled? Or does the engine start to sputter and die?

Check all your grounds,,,and pin connectors…

I'm my case it was the battery. I had just put a new one in and then started having the problem. But I will say that move if I pull the key and reinsert it the ski will start back up

I would try replacing the 30 amp relay

I checked the grounds, fuses and cleaned the wiring connectors. I took the Jet Ski out and it ran fine for 20 minutes then stalled like before. But this time the DESS key beeped normally and it started right back up and ran fine.

How could the relay cause this?

Possibly it gets hot and fails , or the contacts are faulty , simple thing to replace and they are known to fail , it just seems like when you say it shuts off it sounds like no power at all.
