2007 GTI all of a sudden won't start

I just brought this GTI home from the shop. Was running fine. Took it down to the ramp the other day and switched it from a single trailer to my double trailer. Came home, started it rinsed it out and shut it down. When out today and it just cranks and cranks-no start. What the hell? It's got fresh gas(full tank), new plugs and fresh oil change. I don't get it. ANY THOUGHTS???

Switch it back to the other trailer, then check for fuel and spark. At least it's cranking. Like I have mentioned before the 2006/07 can be electrical nightmares.

WOW, today I went out and it fired right up......what the hell????

Something maybe got wet when you rinsed it out and subsequently dried itself out.

Did you rinsed it the right way?
Be careful on this.
First be sure it reads the key. Cleen it well and push the key firmly.
Then check for any wet plug under the steering wheel.
There is an issue also with fuse holder near the start relay.
Mine looked good but inside it was melt.
I replace both clips.
Take care as you might end up with no power offshore.
