2007 Challenger180

Hello, I'm looking at purchasing my first jet boat. I'm currently looking at a 2007 Challenger 180 for about $12500, a 2006 Challenger closer to home for $11900 and also looking at Utopias (2003) which seem to be $11000+. The 2007 is a one owner with supposedly 21hrs. Has quite a bit to go with it. Seems the obvious choice. Any Thoughts. Any issues with these boats? Thanks, Rich

The only issue, I'm aware of Ceramic Washer in 2006-2008 models. I'm really surprised that 2007 model only have 21 hours.. Again, may be he bought a boat and never really used.

I've heard about the ceramic washers. Some say that issue is mainly on the pwc's? I'll have to check that out. TY I agree about the hrs. I've read that the hrs. can be reset on those but there is another area on the boat where you can find the true hrs. that cannot be rest. Something else to look into. Does $12500 for an 07 sound good to you? Thanks, Rich

Based on my research last year, 2006 models were going around 12K-13K. So, 2007 model for 12.5K sounds good but you can negotiate little bit more that'd be nice.

I almost bought 2009 model for 17K SE model then 2010 180 NON-SE for 16.5K... But I was find a steal deal on 2011 with 17hrs (in Arkansas drove around 500+ miles to pickup my boat) for 17K CASH DEAL.
