2007 challenger won’t start after long ride

Boat ran good all season until last day pulled up to ramp shit boat off backed trailer in went to start boat to pull on trailer wouldn’t start. Took boat to dealer and during busy season said was getting water in cylinders so told them to winterize it and I will deal with it next spring. Any idea where to look or where the water could be coming from?
 
Here is the cooling for the exhaust and the intercooler. I’m assuming you have a supercharged engine? As you can see, water is pushed from the pump housing (behind the impeller) under pressure to the intercooler first. This sits inside the intake manifold. It then travels to the exhaust manifold and then on around the exhaust and then into the exhaust at the muffler from what I understand. This is why the engine must be running when you flush the system (which actually pushes it the reverse way). Otherwise water can build up in the exhaust and make its way in the engine via any open exhaust valves.
So unless your coolant level is low (head gasket gone?) it must be getting in either through the exhaust or the intake (via the intercooler). I can’t see any other way. Maybe there is a way to pressure test the intercooler?

I’m sure someone with a lot more experience can chime in. I’m new to the challenger 180, but I do have a mechanical background.

Awesome thanks for the diagram and an explanation of the water route that help a lot for me to start tackling it. Yes it is the 215 supercharged engine, if that changes anything please let me know, thanks again
 
Not to sound ignorant but does it show the intercooler in the diagram or is it inside the intake manifold like you said?
 
Here is someone showing the leak once it’s removed. Again, it may or may not be this issue. The best way would be to block one of the ports off and pressure test on the other port while it is installed. This way you would not have to remove the intercooler. If the pressure drops, there’s a leak in the IC. If you are not mechanical inclined, you might want to leave it to a shop to do.

 
Awesome I appreciate it just picked the boat up from dealer and saw the end of intercooler. Going to get some parts to run pressure test when I get a minute
 
Sometimes after a long ride, I notice that both my boat (powered by 04 4tec SC 185) and my 09 Yamaha FX HO (powered by 1.8L non-sc motor) don't like to start back up. It's especially prevalent in the yamaha, which sometimes will crank and crank. I think the problem is partly attributed to heat soak. I saw this with an even newer ski last summer and told them to lift the seat and get some fresh air in there. Once they did that it fired back up. As the ski is running, it's constantly bringing in new cool air, but once you shut it off, the air inside gets stifling hot. It may be just not enough air molecules for a proper ignition. Next time, try activating your blower for min and give it a go.
 
I think I’ve got a leaking Intercooler too on my ‘07 Challenger. Engine surges for 200-300RPM at mid throttle. However when I went to remove the aiC for testing, it can’t come out due to the fuel tank and flooring in the way.
dies the intake require removal to access the IC on these boats?
 
I’m not sure. However, you should be able to leak test it in place. Shop book says 10psi of air pressure for a minimum of 10 mins.
