2006 Sportster. Is this a fair price?

I'm looking at a 2006 Sportster. No supercharger. No tower. But in absolutely perfect shape. 68 hours. Runs great. Looks new.

The seller listed it at $10,500, but will take $10,000.

What do you guys think? Is that a fair price.

to be honest, his price is too high...I would say price should be around the $7K-8K mark!! I bought an 04 sportster 4TEC 155 with 45hrs on it for $5,800, then an 07 speedster 150 215HP with 24hrs on it for $8,800. There are deals out there, but there are 2 problems on buying boats...1st is timing, right now is prime season so will pay more for a boat (best time is in Sept-Jan) and 2nd is majority of people finance their boats from new and when they want to sell the actual value of the boat is far less then what is left on their loans so they have high asking prices to minimize their loss.

Thanks, Thor. I appreciate that insight. The other issue, at least in my area, is that these boats don't show up very often on Craigslist. I need to be patient, but also know that the season is ticking away.
