We are brand new to this sport, so I have a ton of questions. This looks like a great web site to learn from...certainly could use some help.

I bought a 2006 GTi with 64 hours. First day out, ran like a champ. Fueld up and docked her. The very next day...full of RPM's and not much getty up on the low end. When I reached the high end,,,she was back up and running. At the dock they suggeste a clogged intake. I did not find that to be the case. Then they said clogged fuel filter...but the manual tellls me that is unlikely. And they suggested trying some dry gas, and some octane boost. I did put the fuel additives in.
I welcome your thoughts, help and suggestions.
Thank you.

It is revving on the low end...and coming out of the hole very slow at high RPM. Once up...it runs well at high RPM and is running at high speed. It is just the low end and it feels and sounds like it is going to crap out.

Revving and coming out of the hole slowly with high RPMs sounds like cavitation. I predict you got some trash on/in your intake grate of your propulsion system. Especially, with your scenario of how and when this took place. Small floating trash can be forced under your seadoo at the dock by the current and then get trapped inside the grate. You stated that you found a clogged intake not to be the case. How did you determine that, by feeling underneath while still in the water? Sometimes as I say, small floating debris can get up inside the pump, inside the grate and you cannot tell by feeling with your hand. You will need to remove the craft from the water or take it up to shore and tilt it on it's side to inspect the intake area behind the grate. Make sure you tilt it on the side that the exhaust is on so that water will not leave the exhaust system and enter the engine.
