I have a 2006 GTX that seems to have an electrical problem. When I attach the lanyard, several things happen. 1) No beeps at all - nothing when pressing START 2) long fist beep, then 3 consecutive beeps - nothing when pressing START 3) long first beep, then 2 consecutive beeps - engine turns over once, then nothing when pressing START 4) long first beep, then 2 consecutive beeps, engine turns over and starts when pressing START.
Once started and running, engine will occasionally die when the accelerator is not being pressed.
Brand new battery didn't help.
Any ideas?
