Hey all, first-time boat owner here, but not unfamiliar with fiberglass boats in general (worked for Boston Whaler for a while). I'm looking to buy my first boat and I've spotted a twin 4-tec 2006 Islandia in a reasonable distance from me for $17K at a dealer. From what I've seen, the upholstery, canvas, and gelcoat are all in great shape. The bilge looks nearly spotless, and I'm waiting for him to test the fresh water system for leaks/function. They took it on trade about a week ago, and have serviced the fluids and plugs, and based on the appearance of the motor well, I doubt this boat has 200 hours on it. I guess my big question is: is $17K a reasonable price for a non-supercharged Islandia in the TX/LA/NM/OK/AR market right now? Is there anything I should be looking for beyond the normal (i.e. squishy hoses, loose clamps, leaks, dry-rotted rubber, electrical function, connector corrosion inhibitor, etc) that's specific to these boats? Any information you all can offer will be greatly appreciated!

We may be looking at the same boat. We're also in FW. I came here to post the same basic questions. I didn't think the one we were looking at was at a dealer though - is the one you're looking at in Norman OK?
