I have an 05 Sportster 4 tec SC model. I picked up a rock, trashed the wear ring, and damaged the impeller leading edges. It also damaged about 1/4" of trailing edge of all the black plastic vanes in the pump support as well as knocking one most of the way off. (This is the black plastic support bolted to the hull forward of the jet pump) Can I just dress up the remaing vanes to where they are all about the same or should I spend alot of time, work, and money and replace the plastic pump support bolted to the hull? Removing the grate and rideplate looks like quite a job.
