Hi there and glad to find a great forum.

What i have is a low hour boat with a newly re built supercharger with non ceramic bearings etc fitted and the Reva blow off valve.

Now the boat starts on the button an runs perfect on the versa dock. Now when the pump is under load in the water the boat wants to fire but doesnt quite make it until i get my hand on the throtle body and give it a hand full, she then fires and runs perfect. What ive noticed is that the Blow off valve is venting air at tick over as you would expect.

Is the fuel air mixture nowwrong at start up with the supercharger venting at start?

With a RXP supercharged with the reva kit you can squeez he throtle to get her to fire but wit my boat there is a sencer on the throtle notallowing engig start at anything other than Nutral and tick over.

Any Ideas? I put the blo off valve on to save te clutch so dont realy want to take it off. Any one else have one?

thanks again peeps and look forward to what you got to say, Oh and the boat runs realywell in the water when running and pulls smooth to full throtle and over 60:bigear:

It's a little confusing... but if you just crack the throttle, will it start?

The slight air venting of the BOV shouldn't make a difference since the SC won't make any boost until it's spinning at a proper RPM.

You may have low fuel pressure. I would check that out first.

Hi and yes f i crack the throtle on the engine by hand as i hit the start button it starts yes

i dont have t do anything if the boat is out of the water it starts on the button perfect as new. Its when boat is in the water that it wont start. it feels like the jet pump being submurged and loaded with water is slowing down the engine thats trying to start....

Thats exactly whats happening.

Once it starts in the water... what is the idle RPM's? If the are a little low... or even right where they are supposed to be... I would raise the idle just a little to help with starting.

Hi, thats what i thought and thanks, the big question is how do i adjust the idle? Off shore performance told me that there is no idle adjustment on the throtle other than by the ECU, is that correct as that seams strange. Does the idle control vlave control even base level tickover?

Yes... you are right. The idle speed is controlled by the computer. To have it raised, you will need a dealer to take care of it.

One thing to check is that the idle control valve is operating properly. If it's hanging a little... it may not let enough air though.
