2005 SeaDoo Challenger Engine Overheating

Hello! We just bought a used SeaDoo Challenger and the engine is overheating. After about 90seconds of the engine starting, a continuous ringing starts and when I open up the engine cover there is a little smoke. Is there any tips on how to troubleshoot?
 
I assume you are running this for 90 seconds on water? I am wondering if your exhaust cooling system has some sort of clog or something blocking the path of the lake water that cools the exhaust system. Or perhaps something is logged in your intake under the boat or in the impeller.

The long beep is your exhaust system overheating. I have had that happen when I have sucked up weeds or some other debri.

Check you coolant level as well. The coolant cools the engine itself.
