I am at the end of my rope at this point. Coupler that sits over the lock ring won’t budge. Trying to swap out the shaft and replace the carbon. Any ideas to get that off would be helpful otherwise I am cutting it out.

I had a similar issue. I used a pry bar braces against a wood block on the engine on the inside to push back the coupler, while my kiddo used a rubber mallet on the outside. About 6-7 hits later it finally moved and revealed the c clip. Was a pain in the arse.

I just did mine a few weeks ago. The supercharger is in the way. If you remove it you can get more leverage. BTW, I used a pickle fork for removing ball joints/tie rods on a truck as the pry bar. 3ftdeep has a good video, its done on a ski but thats where I got the pickle fork idea from.
