I've searched everywhere and cannot find any helpful information on this subject. One of my intake grate brackets broke so in order to hold the intake grate I have to replace the metal bracket. Is there a way to access the nuts from inside the engine compartment without removing the engine? I've stood on my head trying to locate these nuts but I think the supercharger is in the way. Anyone have any advice? I really don't want to spend thousands at a dealership. Thanks

on my challenger, they go into the fiberglass. I suspect there is metal inserts. Maybe they followed the same pattern.

Not sure, I will try and take a look at mine tonight and see. From the parts list you should have 2 nuts on the inside of the hull. I bet they are covered in sealant. You will have to crawl in the engine bay and use a wrench to hold it while someone unscrews it from under the boat.

I have a similar question about my 2005 speedster 200 (not SC). One of my grates broke off and now needs to be replaced. I have had issues with the grate in the past and would like to replace it (and my other grate) with a fixed grate. I am not sure how I would attached the rear end of the new, fixed grate. If I go to a fixed grate the mounting brake will go onto the ride plates. Can I secure the fixed grate to the ride plates or will that cause problems? Also, did anyone find the nuts in the engine compartment holding the grate screws in place? I haven't attempted to find them yet but I figure they will be a pain. Any advice would be great! Thanks.

i have the same boat with the same exact problem. its a 2005 speedster 200 the intake grate bracket broke off and i can't seem to find a way to get the screws off. i need to change it but i cannot find any information on it. i was looking for a fixed grate that i can put on to try and eliminate the weedless system all together. can someone please help i am lost. thank you so much in advance.
