2005 Challenger 180

Hello everyone, I have a problem I hope you guys can assist with. Last week I was towing my friends 05 challenger to the lake and the starboard seat was not snapped down so when I got to the lake I found out that the seat had blown out some where along the road to the lake. As my luck would have it Sea Doo no longer makes the replacement seat and I can't seem to find one anywhere. Does anyone know where I could find one, or is there another seat that I could use to replace it?
Any help would be appreciated I have been stressing about this pretty bad.

I bet if you selected a newer year it comes up as available. I just looked and it comes up for the 2010 challenger 180. Its 950 bucks though. I think i would goto a local boat upholstery shop and explain the dilemma. I bet they could make it cheaper using the other seat as a model.

Actually i just looked it up. Looks like the design changed in 2008. They started using a solid 1 pice. The models before like your friend's has the separate seat and back rest, so its a bit cheaper. Try using the part number for 2007. Look up the part number then google it. Try calling the places that come up. My 2004 still has oem parts available using several online sellers.

I saw one of the online retailers were showing copper ones available last week (for a 2005 C180).....but one section was 450 bucks retail! I can't for the life of me remember who it was, though...
