Hi,
I have 2005 challenger se 180 has 106 hours on it, Had a complete service on it at 100 hour,
It was stored for little over year, last time before storing it, was working great, I put it in the water yesterday for the first time and the engine was running very rough...about 3000rpm on full throttle, I can also feel unburned fuel smell.

Anyone have an idea what this could be?
Thanks!

Sounds like you're getting incomplete combustion., engine loading up / running too rich. Could be a lot of things but the first thing I would check is that year old fuel. Gas can degrade over time, and depending on the storage conditions you could have got some moisture / condensation mixed in with really old fuel. They make additives to boost octane but if it were me, I'd drain the fuel and try again with new. otherwise, check your ignition system plugs coils etc and make sure there's no obstruction to the air intake. Good luck!

Thank you for your response!

I also forgot to mention that while idling, I pulled the 3 rubber coils that connects to the spark plugs; one by one.
one out of the 3 caused the engine to stop when pulled out, the other 2 had no impact, does that mean anything?

Yes, it means you should change your plugs. Pulling any single plug should not kill the motor. It should run slightly rougher with a cylinder not firing but takes a trained ear just to notice it.

Thank you!
I will get new spark plugs, unfortunately I can't find the NGK 4339 plugs where I am now, the only alternative is Bosch YR7DC+
I will also add octane booster and hopefully this will fix the problem.

Seafoam in the tank every year no issues cleans everything and takes care of any water droplets in the tank.

Solved
it was the spark plugs, I changed the 3 and worked normally, I then added octane booster to clean things up although I've been always skeptical about these products if they actually do anything.

New spark plugs are a Sea Doo's best friend!! Replace them every season even if they look like they are good!
