J jamesdjs New Member Jul 11, 2016 #1 Has anyone changed the plastic hinges on the small front cover? How do you remove the 1/8" pop rivets that hold the cover on and did you replace the pop rivets when replacing the hinges or use screws? Thanks

rcguy Active Member Jul 11, 2016 #2 Yes I change that hinge on my 2003 Sportster. You drill out the old rivets (aluminum) and pop rivet the new hinge in. Easy fix.
