Took my sportster Le 2004 to get a diagnose and the computer said "fuel level sensor" I took the pump out and clean the sensor out. I plugged the sensor while the pump was outside, I turn the key on and moved the float. I saw the fuel gauge moving up and down, so I think the fuel sensor is working properly. I put everything back and the long beeps after a min continues. Any other ideas? I also checked to buy a new sensor but they are discontinue and they are very hard to find. Maybe bypassing this sensor? or an after market sensor? I been trying to fix this thing for the last 3 weeks already and I'm running out of ideas!
Any help is appreciated.
