2004 Sportster LE 951 DI engine issue

It will run great (50 mph) for long periods but every so often has periods where it drops power. Rectifier was changed by previous owner a few years ago. Local sea-doo dealer changed one of the ignition coils from code reader suggestion and it worked fine for a bit after that but last year and this summer the problem has reoccurred. I suspect there is an issue with the air supply/compressor or fuel system. Any suggestions or ideas? Here is a vid of it on the lake a couple days ago.

You could try and replacing the fuel filter, for replacement you can use a wix 33095 and replacing the 2 small internal fuel filters in the fuel pump.

Thanks. I ordered the wix filter for Monday from a local parts store. Are the pump filters oem only? Or can they just be cleaned? I'm guessing the pump is accessed by removing the middle seat.

Pump filters can be purchased at most local auto parts stores.
Airtex FS220
Airtex FS242
Pump will need to be disassembled by pushing in the three tabs and sliding the can off the pump.
Make sure you keep up with the two washers in the bottom of the can and reinstall them exactly as they came out after replacing the filter.
