The forward position single bolt on my intake grate has snapped off.I have removed the nut in the engine compartment so the broken piece of bolt is still in the hull.Does the hull have threads in it as well or is it safe to knock the broken piece out?How do you tighten the front wake tower mounts I dont see any hardware on the backside?

2004 sportster intake grate

When the bolt snapped off it damaged the insert as well.The threads are stripped out and the insert turns in the hull.Does anyone know if there is a repair kit available or have any ideas on how to replace the insert.I will never borrow my boat out to anyone again it was returned with a rope wrapped around the impeller shaft and then jammed into the intake grate snapping the bolt and loosening the threaded insert.
