I took my Boat to the Local Dealer to get it ready for Summer and the Boat would not start as the Fuel Pump was not turning on. They removed the Pump from the Tank and dissassembeled the Fuel Pump Unit and Tapped on the Pump itself and it started working so I had them put it back together and it seems to be fine. The Boat worked fine when I stored it last Fall.

Has anyone seen this before and is the Fuel Pump going to be fine?

I would also like to know if there is fuel pump that will work aftermarket with that assembely as the new unit is $900.00 plus Tax. There are no number of any kind on the Pump itself.

Are you sure of the pricing? does that include labor? My fuel pump in my 05 challenger 180 broke last weekend and the replacement part was $460, it's by no means cheap but it's not $900. if it's labor included you might want to tackle the job yourself, not sure what your boat is like but if the pump is accessable it's a really easy fix. on mine there is an access panel right over the tank and after that is removed there was 9 bolts that held the pump in, I just took those off and pulled the pump out and put the new one in. good luck with your boat, hope you can save some money.

Quick question from a newbie

I have two '06 gtx wake 155 and fuel assembly is all corroded and nasty, the motor was starving for fuel which led me to pump module. pre filter screen missing and not in good shape. Should I buy parts to rebuild or just replace the whole unit? Thanks guys
