Hi All,
I am having problem starting the boat in a normal manner. Basically it only starts if I take the plugs out and manually pour small quantity of fuel in the plug hole. The engine will then fire-up and continue as normal until I switch it of. The engine will not fire again until I repeat the above procedure again.
The boat was in dry storage for six years. I recently replaced the fuel pump, so there is no problem with the fuel delivery to the fuel bar, it is what happens after that.
I suspect it is air intake problem or air/fuel mixture issue. There is a small fuel regulator and an air regulator (limiter) next to each other located on the fuel bar between the injectors. There is also an air valve solenoid and an air compressor. Not sure if any of them is faulty.
I would be very grateful of any help if anyone has come across the same problem or if there is a past thread that addresses the same problem.
Thanks in anticipation.
