2004 SeaDoo GTI Power issue

I have a problem with my 2004 GTI. When I fully accellerate it shuts it down to half speed. I recieve 4 beeps when I attach the key. I do not have the service manual. I have changed the spark plugs but still have the problem. Can anyone help me where to look.

Beep codes?

The beep code your receiving is for you lanyard. If you leave your lanyard cap on, you'll get 4 short beeps every 3 seconds for 2 hours to remind you to take off the lanyard, or you'll risk running down your battery.

If your riding and the engine is smooth, it just shuts down for no reason, then it may be your post. The magnetic post has to receive the info from your ROM (read only memory) to keep a communication link between your ski and the mpem..............:cheers:
