2004 Islandia - White smoke?

I just purchased the boat and have had it on the water only a few times so far. The last couple of times out, I have noticed some white smoke coming from the back end on take off. It doesn't last very long and seems to disappear once we get moving. Is this normal? The engine is 240. I'm new to jet boats...

Does it have the 240 efi or Optimax Engine?

I was mistaken in an earlier post. It has the 250 optimax.

I believe you are seeing steam that is built up within the exhaust manifold is all..
