2004 GTX Supercharged Running Rough

I purchased a 2004 GTX Supercharged last spring, it had 25 hours on the hour display. I ran it 15 hours last summer it ran great every time I took it out. I put some stabilize in the gas tank for the winter, and started it once every 2 months. The battery died last month so I replaced it. I took the ski to the lake this weekend and it started right up, it sounded good, I got it off the trailer and slowly got past the no wake zone, gave it gas and it started running rough and died. I finally got it back to the trailer, it would run a short distance then die. Would this be a fuel filter or a plug problem, if it is a filter problem were is the fuel filter. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi WATERHOLIC,
Put in a set of new spark plugs.(3) NGK DCPR8E
Your 4TEC has a great power plant but the spark plugs are very sensitive to sitting around, being started every month or so but not actually being ridden.

Thanks for the reply, Ill change the plugs and try it again this weekend.

Remember to set the plug gap to .028-.030 in.
