I have a fairly new to me 2004 challenger x. there seem to be a lot of water splashing from the jet pump behind the boat ( very anoying when on a tube, specialy at higher speed) is there any way to adjust the jet pump?

My Challenger does the same thing would be nice to know how to stop that. I watch video's where the jet is pushing a nice low jet and mine is shooting a rooster tail.

Definitely do this.... Made a world of difference on mine by planing quicker and reduced porpoising. Takes 15 minutes

Only about an inch or so, and you can adjust more/less to your liking. You can't drop it too much because the torx screws bring the front of it back up, which also brings the back up alittle (loosen the 2 torx screws first, the retighten them last). Bow will drop much quicker when planing.

I noticed that there are 2 large washers on the rear of the trim plane. Should those washers be there? I'm looking at a used boat and test drove today with some porposing. I remember seeing the trim plate, which was fairly flat. I just want to make sure the washers are supposed to be there. Thanks.

Yeah, they are just spacers to take some load off nut.
I snapped off left screw and just wedged a 1" rubber spacer from a shock absorber and it's hangin n there.
