Hi guys, I've got an '04 Challenger 2000 with the M2 250 DFI engine that will not turn over. I started it up twice with no issues on hose then I took it to the lake, put it in, started it up and it died under throttle. Was able to start it again and it died, I swam it into the dock and now it wont start at all.
The motor is cranking great but it won't turn over. I sprayed some starter fluid directly in the air intake and got it to fire for a second or two then it dies (I've confirmed I do have a spark); It will not turn over without the fluid being sprayed directly in.

I removed the fuel filter, cleaned it, bled the lines, drained the fuel in the engine, I have a brand new battery, I've tested the CPS, all 6 Fuel Injectors, Compression (air & fuel) and all seem to be fine. I'm at the end of my ability (and I've gone through most of the troubleshooting steps in the Merc manual for "Engine cranks but will not start") and was hoping for some advice on where to go next.

Thanks,

Scott

The Opti engines can be tough. If you have fuel pressure, and air pressure... the compression is good, and you have spark.... I think you need to plug into a DDT system, and see if all the sensors are reading properly.

Also... check over the fuses, and make sure you have power getting to the injectors.
