2003 XP DI - runs fine, but won't quit beeping

I have a 2003 XP DI that runs fine, but after the two normal beeps, it continues to make a series of four beeps. How can this be stopped?

Those beeps are there to remind you that you left your lanyard on the post. So, if it's beeping while your riding it, you have a short someowhere. If it's a continuous beep, then your temp sensor is probably going out.:cheers:
