2003 Seadoo Sportster 4-tec Seat Darts

I am getting my upholstery redone in my 2003 Sportster 4-tec and wanted to see if anyone has found an alternative to the $6 seat darts. I looked on the forum and a member had found some that were similar but they are not as long. If you order the seat darts from the parts warehouse is the $6.00 per seat dart or is that a set of three.

Any update on the darts? I am looking to order some from the seadoowarehouse.com but need to know if the part number 293730021 is per dart or a pack of 3 or 7?

Just got the answer to my own question. I called parts warehouse and it is 5.99 per dart.

I don't understand how I am to use these when replacing the seats. The manual says to use a rubber mallet and tap them in. So, do you attach them to the seat that tap them into the hull or vice versa?

You can do it either way. I would probably say put the short part of the dart into the seat the firmly press the seat into the holes in the boat. Just make sure all of the darts are lined up in the holes. To get the shorter part of the dart into the seat try twisting the dart into the seat because the dart is larger than the hole on the seat typically.
