2003 sea foo 205 Utopia

Was using it yesterday and out of nowhere a hi pitched continuous beep at points would raise and lower in tone but never stopped , Engine went into what I think is limp mode thought maybe it had gotten hot but today I tried it within the first two minutes it did the same thing I checked voltage and it was 18v at battery… is it possible that much volts fired a sensor temperature/ or water is it has one … any one plz help

18 volts is way too high,,,check that regulator and remove it from your equation,,,Usually a long continuous beep is over heating,,,

I have an alternator getting here either tomorrow or Friday.. I think the regulator and the alternator are one… and I’ve check water lines and can’t find a block , plus it beeps and soon as I put it in drive …
