2003 RX DI mods

I'm looking for little things I can do to make my RX DI be a little faster, handle a little better and be a little more comfortable to play with. Problem is, I'm having a hard time finding reasonably priced parts.

I'd like to get finger throttle rather than thumb, anything special to look for? Recommendations?

Hydroturf mats - stock really stink when they're wet. Where's the best place to buy them? Any vendors here sell them?

Grips not so good when wet either. What do y'all like?

Ride plate/impeller/grate? What is good, what should I look for, etc.?

I was a the races in Myrtle Beach this weekend. Really gave me the bug to start tricking mine out some.

GP at Sea Doo.net offers a bunch of mods, some controversy as to what works though amongst customers of PPG DI mods so be careful. I would talk to as many owners as I could before spending a dime on DI mods. I have heard some horror stories........ And the results after spending a grand or so are very little. The DI is not the best choice of boat to start modifying.

Last, but not least....

I'm starting to get the picture w/ these.....another quote
....I have a 03 RXDI I went with the PPG L1 and worked from there. With a little elbow grease and a lot of $$ I am getting a touch over 66mph (gps) in perfect conditions. Controversial or not PPG has the goods for the DI L1.But if you are looking for real speed ya might have picked the wrong ski...

Hmm ... I did see that people weren't getting much more speed out for the $$$ they must have put in. I'm not real concerned about top end. More for fun, handling, that type thing. Finger throttle and mats are my top two ideas now. what have y'all done? Grate/impeller are out of my $$$ range until I get my VXR together and sold.
