2003 Islandia Questions

Just bought a 2003 Islandia and had her out twice. She's a bit of a pig (owner lived off dirt roads and it showed though in one week we've gotten her very clean) but runs well.

Two quesrions:
1. Should I switch to premixed oil/gas? Is it really as easy as adding it to the gas and ignoring the oil tank?
2. I NEED a cover. Recommendations, please.

Thanks in advance,
The MightyViking

1) It's up to you, but to properly mix 55 gallons of fuel is dang near impossible. I don't really recommend it. Since yours is a 2003... I'll assume you have a Gen2 240EFI engine. If you do... then there is really no reason to even consider going "Premix". If you have the 250 Opti engine... YOU CAN NOT go premix. So... post a picture of your engine, and we will know for sure.

2) I generally recommend Poppy Covers. They will last +5 years sitting out all the time. If you remove it, and use a tarp in the winter (when the boat is parked for the season) it will last longer. They fit very well, and are trailerable.
