Looking for some input. My pump was in pretty bad shape so got it all apart and going back together. My ? is the thrust side bearing had a sloppy fit so I staked it and pressed it in with Loctite bearing mount. Overall Im happy with the results but its not recessed as far the manual says. I do not want to disturb it. Its cured over night. The impeller side no problem I just tapped it a couple of time alls good there. I can lay a small straight inside the thrust side see some slight clearance so Im pretty certain the thrust washer mated up to the housing and not resting on the outer race of the bearing. Just thought I would see if anybody has some thoughts.
