2003 fiberglass shell - is it sealed top to to bottom?

So looking over my 2003, I'm curious if the top/bottom shell is actually sealed or just fastened together? I'm planning to eliminate the rivets for the old non-slip pads and figured I'd ask before I start into that project!

You need to seal the rivet holes or it will get water into the hull.
Just use some Bondo Glass Bondo Glass
