2003 2000 Challanger WOT Alarm

240 EFI M2 Jet Drive This has been a ongoing problem for the last 3 years and it is a mystery. The boat runs great until you reach 5800 RPM the alarm goes off (Steedy) This is what I Have done so far. New Battery, New Fuel Filter, New fuel water seperator filter, flushed the boat many time checked intake grate, blew out all water lines, New plugs last year I have no clue anymore. The boat runs great at any other RPM purrs like a kitty but as soon as you try and go wide open I get that dam alarm.

Have you tried a plug check when sound goes off., maybe a "get'n hot" indication?

So if is getting hot then what. But the dam thing run good last year before I put away you could go all day at Full Throttle These Mercury Motors sound like there Junk Thank God Seadoo figured them out and dumped them

Like anything else, one day/season...perfect, next time out...WHAT THE ...!
Injector/s might have enough for idle/quarter throttle,.. then WOT, not flow'n enough.
Just one senerio, also try compression test. Seasons early, last thing you want is to limp thru it.
