Number 2 cylinder has no fuel new plugs has spark and only goes 5 mph
Also has good compression

Test the injector to make sure it is firing but to determine the source of the problem you need to test fuel pressure. I'd check the air pump first though. Make sure the lines coming off the air pump are connected and not leaking. Sometimes the line from the air pump to the rave valve solenoid becomes disconnected. Be careful with the conntections on the rave solenoid they are small and plastic and easily broken.
Next move onto fuel pump pressure and air pressure tests. Good Luck.

Just a heads up I checked compression and both cylinders are 125-130 just tested it again maintenance light is on and still only running on 1 cylinder haven’t checked fuel issues yet not sure how to I’ll try u tube

Would it be bad fuel pressure if one cylinder works perfectly but other no fuel doesn’t make sence since it is running on 1

Google SeaDoo service manual and read how to check air and fuel pressure. Even on one cylinder it should go more than 5 MPH if working correctly. I think 2002's idle on one cylinder so that may be what you are seeing.

It doesn’t go past idle when in the water but does rev up on hoist and maintenance light is on just picked it up from the shop and they repaired the charging issue and it only went at idle prior to that and still only runs on idle and smokes
From my personal experience I would check these two things first.
(1) the rectifier. I had a 2003 RX DI that would not accelerate no matter what the throttle position. Then sometimes it would. It was strange. Someone here suggested I replace the rectifier and that was the ticket. I don't know why but it worked.
(2) the Air pump. I had an air pump issue and the ski would start and idle but nothing else. You can have other issues but those would be at the top of my list.
Verifying fuel and air pressure is very important because if you don't the troubleshooting process will be hit or miss. If you have a Candoo that may or may not help. Good Luck.
