On the lake running great, then for no reason the seadoo won't reach top speed.
In the past I have gotten the plugs wet and have trouble getting the engine to rev all of the way up. This is different. The engine revs right up to the rev limiter, but the ski never gets up to top speed. I did not run anything over or suck anything into the impeller. It just suddenly started acting up.
I inspected the intake grate and impeller, they looked normal. I ran the engine with the rear cover removed and observed the drive line it appeared normal. I don't know what is wrong with this thing, it doesn't make since.
It feels like driving a car with a slipping clutch. I need help troubleshooting. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
