2002 Seadoo Utopia steering issue

Hi, just purchased a 2002 Utopia with 200 hours. Im finding it wont steer to the right like it does to the left. I understand this is partially due to the affect of the propulsion, but ive also checked and the jet only turns half as far to the right as it does to the left. Do I have a cable problem, or do i just have to preplan all my trips to turn to the left only? Lol!

Nope...steering issue,,,disconnect the cable at the venturi,,,see if that cures the problem,,,if yes,,the issue is at the venturi,,,if no,,,the issue is either the cable,,or the shifting mechanism,,,usually the cable,,,if you need to replace thecable,,,make sure you wrap a long length of wire around the cable,,,so that you will be able to fish the new one thru,
