2002 Seadoo Islandia

I bought this boat used, engine was bad. I put in a rebuilt motor, a Mercury 240 sport jet EFI. The hose in the pic wasn’t connected to anything when I took the old motor out, it was just laying there. Any thoughts on where it connects into?

That’s the bilge siphon hose. I asked the same question when I got mine! The jet creates a suction through that hose to keep the bilge free of water- like an extra bilge pump. Zip tie the middle section to the top of the expansion chamber and lay the other portion in the lowest part of the boat.

Thanks! The fitting has threads on it so it seemed like it was supposed to connect somewhere. Appreciate your response.

Mine is too, seems confusing why it has threads, service manual shows it like that too.
