Lets try posting this again to see if I can get any direct help on it. I had the Engine rebuilt by SES, took it out for two days and it ran great great. At the end of the second day I noticed the exhaust pipe had came loose and so I pulled it home. I did the flooding mode and got the water out. Now when I go to start it it takes a while for it to even start and when it does it idles very rough and I give it throttle and it just dies out. I have gone through and swapped all the injectors and coils. I have candor pro and can activate everything and hear that everything is running. It is not showing any faults at all. Recently though when I want to start it, it beeps every time I press the ignition after getting the two correct beeps or the fuel pump will run every time I press start? Should I start with fuel pressure test? I know its not accurate just looking at the injectors squirting.

Check compression,,those motors "hate" water.,,,?,,this sounds physical,,not electrical that candoo can do..?

So you sucked water into the engine? Check compression, fuel pressure (which indirectly checks air pressure), and report back.

I dont see how water would cause a fuel pump issue, but it could cause an air pump issue that would translate to incorrect fuel delivery.

Im not 100% sure if water went in or not, but with the exhaust lose Im guessing it did. Compression was 150 on both. Im waiting on a fuel pressure kit now. I just know that the DI's were prone to fuel pump issues so that's why im checking. I want to cover all my bases before sending the engine back for warranty. When I had it started before it was running very rough and not wanting to idle and then also bogging out and dying when giving it gas almost instantly. Im cautious of it being something electrical as there is times when I do the key and when pressing start it just runs the fuel pump and beeps with the key press.

I had SES rebuild my 951 DI and it stopped running well after a couple hours (1 cylinder stopped firing at idle). Compression was 120-125 on both. I worked on it for months, finally bought a scope and found some minor damage to the piston heads, but still not sure that is the root cause of my issues. Pulled it and sent it back on July 4th. SES still has not gotten to it and his shop was hit by an Ida related tornado, so who knows what the outlook is. I would recommend giving it a thorough once over before sending back. Sounds like you are on the right path with testing fuel pressure and electrical.

Yeah, Iv already have another engine that's been there for a good while too that Im waiting to receive back. The parts shortage and tornado did not help his shop at all. I think its definitely going to be needed to be taken out. The only thing that really stumped me was how it was dying when given throttle. Thanks for the help
